Huntington Dog Beach

The stretch of sand at Goldenwest Street is famous as “Doggy Disneyland,” one of the few beaches where dogs run the shoreline off-leash, all day, every day.

If your best friend rides along to your appointment, this and a pup cup from Hans' is their reward: a couple of minutes up PCH and worth every sandy towel. Mornings are calmer; weekends are a joyful chaos of every breed in Orange County.

We keep it on our list of neighborhood favorites because it is the most Huntington Beach thing there is: everyone, including the dogs, is having the best day of their week.
