Duke's Huntington Beach

Sitting right at the base of the pier and named for Duke Kahanamoku — the father of modern surfing — Duke’s pairs Hawaiian-inspired seafood with front-row ocean views.

It is where we point visitors who want the full Surf City evening: fresh fish, a sunset, and the pier lit up above the water. Ask for the fresh catch, and whatever you do, leave room for the Hula Pie — arguing about whether one slice serves four is part of the experience.

Our advice for a proper night of it: book a beard trim with us that afternoon, walk the three blocks down PCH looking sharp, and time your table for sunset.
